We are excited to introduce to our clients the Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu You Tube channel. On this You Tube channel you can learn Can-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu techniques first hand from the owner and chief instructor of Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu, Steven Hiscoe, Shihan. He will be teaching a variety of techniques taken from his dojos curriculum. This will be an excellent resource tool for current or past student or simply people who want to learn new self-defense techniques. Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu is located in the City of Chilliwack in the Fraser Valley area of British Columbia. (approximately 1 hour east of Vancouver along the Trans Canada Hwy). The Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu school offers a range of programs for students aged 5 and up. Each program is specifically designed to address the needs of those students. Click on the programs icon on the right. Our new location at 17-8635 Young Rd, Chilliwack is new, clean and consist of approximately 900 sqf. of matted area for the students’ safety.
Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu teaches a style of martial art/self-defense style called Can-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu. Can-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu is one of Canada’s most authoritative and growing martial art. It was created by Professor Georges Sylvain and is based on practical and effective self protection techniques designed to be learned by anyone. At Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu our goal is to provide students of Chilliwack / Fraser Valley with programs that promote “total awareness and survival”.
Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu programs are ideal for students who want to learn to protect themselves and for those seeking employment in law enforcement. Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu students have gone onto professional careers with police agencies, correctional services, provincial sheriffs, border services and the security industry.
